Message from Principal Edward Eiseman

From the moment we opened our doors, our philosophy that each child is an individual with separate needs, unique dreams and unlimited potential has stood as a basis for all that happens here.

The beliefs have served as the foundation for everything we do, from offering a reassuring nod, to tying shoelaces, from nursing skinned knees to encouraging positive social relationships. We encourage individual growth by coaching and nurturing life skills that focus on goodness, respect and a positive approach to life that acts as a solid base on which to build a beautiful future.

We at KCA encourage our students to reach their highest potential intellectually, artistically, and physically. Our programs help develop mutual respect, build self-confidence, and expand the students’ sense of mutual cooperation. Students are taught to take responsibility for their actions, weigh its cause and effect, and have love, compassion and human dignity towards each other. Students are provided with a nurturing environment that encourages creativity, develops moral character, builds self-esteem, and helps them become a responsible contributor to society.

In our Early Childhood Center, we provide a loving and safe environment for each child in a colorful and positive setting. We believe in giving each child individual attention in both physical and intellectual areas of study. Our babies will always find an available adult to sing a song, to give a hug or a smile, or to play with. Our staff simply loves children and it shows.

In our Day School, we believe that by exposing our children to a variety of learning situations, different styles of instruction and subject areas that we will better prepare them to meet the challenges of a diverse and competitive world. While our school offers the traditional secular subjects, students learn how to read and write Hebrew in conjunction with their Judaic Studies. Judaic Studies include Gemarah, Torah, Chumash, Mishna, Dinim, Rashi, Parasha, and Navi.  In addition, students explore Art, Drama, and Music as well as provide input in the creation of special programs. The Physical Education program emphasizes teamwork as well as athletic skills.  We, also, offer after school care programs that meet the needs of our community.

As the Principal, I cordially invite you to visit our campus and see first hand what we are all about.  Please call Pauline Mathews at 310.385.1187 to schedule a visit.

Sincerely,

Edward H. Eiseman, Principal
